Design Standards
| Roughan & O’Donovan was originally commissioned in 1998 to develop the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (NRA DMRB) and associated Manual of Contract Documents for Road Works (MCDRW) for the Irish National Roads Authority (NRA). Currently Roughan & O’Donovan are in the process of updating the NRA DMRB and MCDRW and are also preparing an updated Traffic Signs Manual for the Department of Transport and the NRA. Because of this expertise, Roughan & O’Donovan has on several occasions provided training services to the industry on the application of the DMRB and MCDRW. Roughan & O’Donovan are also currently commissioned for the introduction of Eurocodes to Ireland including reviewing background material and developing the National Annexes relating to civil engineering structures. |
