| Roughan & O’Donovan provides engineering services in the transportation, bridges, building structures and environmental disciplines. The transportation group provides roads, public transport, rail, feasibility studies and has particular expertise in the development of design standards. Our bridges group has developed a reputation as Ireland leading bridges designers and has been responsible for many of Ireland’s iconic bridges. The buildings group provides the full scope of services including initial site appraisal for ground conditions and services, through planning, schematic and the detailed structural design and ultimately certification on completion. Our environmental group provides both environmental engineering and environmental planning services. Engineering skills include the design of treatment plants, pumping stations and pipe infrastructure for water, wastewater and drainage; water conservation programmes; sustainable drainage design and wind energy developments. Roughan & O’Donovan Innovative Solutions (ROD-IS) was established in 2009 to provide clients with a consultant outlet for the latest advances in structural assessment and design. We provide health & safety services directly to clients on major infrastructure projects. |
