ROD Environmental provides a diverse range of environmental engineering and planning services for a wide array of clients. The ROD Environmental team consists of environmental scientists, planners, ecologists, drainage engineers, hydrologists, geotechnical engineers and geologists.
In the water services sector we are experienced in planning, design and construction of water supply and waste water treatment works, pipelines and electro-mechanical installations and we have been involved in a number of watermains rehabilitation projects in urban areas. ROD Environmental has experience and expertise in Hydrological Assessment and in particular the hydraulic design and assessment of watercourse crossings. For many years ROD Environmental have promoted and successfully engaged sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) on many of our projects.
Our team of environmental scientists undertake the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments for local authorities, government agencies and private clients and have particular expertise in relation to major infrastructure projects. The EIA team have particular expertise in the preparation and management of planning applications, public consultations and oral hearings. ROD Environmental also undertake Strategic Environmental Assessment and Appropriate Assessment for Plans as well as projects.
The Geotechnical team led by Associate Fintan Buggy specialise in Ground Investigation, soil stabilisation techniques and value engineering solutions in soft soil and peat.
