About the role

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who is keen to develop their skills in administration and help in the smooth running of the UK office of a well-established, rapidly growing company.

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our office manager and design teams
  • Provide routine clerical tasks, including typing, recording and circulating information, photocopying, scanning, filing, emailing, complete routine forms, sorting and distributing mail and ordering supplies
  • Undertake reception duties
  • Actively maintain records and databases
  • Assist with meeting room bookings and providing hospitality for meetings
  • Provide event coordination support
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders as required
  • Arrange travel for our team and any other office support duties as may arise

Essential

  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in an office administration role
  • Minimum of four GCSEs including English at Grade C or above (or equivalent) 
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams
  • A strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • Highly organised with good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • An interest in learning new skills 
  • Fluency/high level of proficiency in spoken and written English

Desirable

  • An administration/secretarial qualification
  • Experience in the construction industry
