Roughan and O’Donovan (ROD) is one of Ireland's leading civil, environmental and structural engineering consultancies.
We plan, design and manage major infrastructural projects, both nationally and internationally.
Our key markets are buildings, bridges, environmental, transportation and water.
We provide a fully integrated engineering design service and employ a multidisciplinary team of more than 170 people.
Each client project is led by a project director, project engineer and project technician, who work closely together on all aspects of project delivery, technical, programme, quality and cost control. This approach ensures 360-degree visibility of project status and activity and builds shared ownership of project outcomes.

BIM (Building Information Modelling)
We combine our standardised Level 2 BIM processes with our ISO 9001 quality management system.
Our BIM processes are certified by the British Standards Institution and apply across our full range of engineering services. This provides reassurance to clients and project partners that we have the systems and capabilities in place to manage information effectively.

Our research and development company, ROD-IS, provides access to cutting-edge research skills, scientific expertise and technical resources.
