We are delighted to announce that ROD, in partnership with Mott MacDonald, has been appointed to Iarnród Éireann's multiparty framework for project multidisciplinary consultancy services. Under the framework, we will provide multidisciplinary advisory and design expertise to support projects within Iarnród Éireann’s capital investment programme.
The appointment provides an opportunity for us to further our relationship with Iarnród Éireann, with whom we are currently working to deliver the infrastructure to support the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme and DART+ West Depot, two transformational rail infrastructure schemes that will enhance Ireland’s rail network and support a more sustainable, low-carbon transport system.
The framework covers advisory and design consultancy services across Project Management Procedures Phases 1-5. It encompasses the development of the project scope, concept, feasibility and preliminary design through to supporting the planning and statutory process, detailed design and tendering. Phases 6 and 7 construction stage and handover services may also be included.
The framework’s initial term is five years, but the option exists to extend for a further three years.
