During Wellness Week 2018, we focused on the issues that matter most to our people  – easy access to medical supports, mental health, nutrition and fitness. 

The week began with a talk by My Nutrition.ie on healthy eating choices, and this was followed by a fun and interactive cooking demonstration showing staff how to create quick and healthy meals at home. 

Our next talk focused on how healthy lifestyle choices can help build emotional resilience. Staff were given practical tips, including breathing techniques, to help them manage stress and busy workloads.

Our external Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider came into the office to talk about the various ways its counselling services and supports can be accessed.

Employee health screening also formed part of the week’s activities, as did talks on financial well-being and money management.
