Simon joined ROD as a technical director in 2026. A chartered engineer, he has over 20 years’ experience in project management, design management and construction supervision of major highways and infrastructure programmes and projects.
Prior to joining ROD, Simon led multidisciplinary teams on National Highways’ Smart Motorway programme, HS2's High Speed Rail 2 project and several other major design and build projects. He is experienced in all aspects of highway design, from feasibility through to construction and handover; the preparation of contract documentation; and project governance.
Simon has five years’ overseas experience in the United Arab Emirates and the Bahamas. He is a member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and is an accredited NEC4 professional.
