About the role
You will be part of a team recognised for delivering high quality, cost-effective and sustainable building projects across a range of sectors, including residential, healthcare, education and commercial.
Your remit will be to design and coordinate all external works associated with our building projects.

- private housing developments
- social housing developments
- hospital facilities
- retail developments
- office buildings
- primary, secondary and third-level school buildings
- rail projects
Current and recent projects include:
Essential
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications or equivalent)
- Site development design experience for building projects (access roads, car parks, drainage, water, SuDS)
- Three to seven years' relevant experience and sector knowledge
- Proven technical knowledge and engineering skills
- Experience of designing drainage and water supply systems
- Ability to produce quality design outputs
- Flexible, motivated and focused
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
- Fluent or highly proficient in spoken and written English
Desirable
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Proficiency in WinDes/Microdrainage
- Experience in site level design
- Experience in road design
- Client-facing skills
- Strong communications skills
- Good MS Office skills
- Membership of a professional body, such as Engineers Ireland or the Institution of Civil Engineers
