Andrew Thomson is an associate at ROD.

A chartered engineer, Andrew has more than 18 years’ experience working with multidisciplinary design teams on public and private building schemes. He has worked across a range of sectors, including healthcare, residential, commercial, education and community. He has also worked as a resident engineer on a broad range of bridge and public realm projects.

Since joining ROD’s buildings team in 2003, Andrew’s main focus has been on site development and structural design. He has served as project manager and Employer’s Representative on several building projects. These include Transport Infrastructure Ireland’s Motorway Operations Control Centre and Dublin City Council's social housing regeneration schemes. Andrew also guest lectures in the School of Civil and Structural Engineering at Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin).

Andrew's project experience includes the National Children’s Hospital Satellite Centres, Student Housing at Maynooth University, Malahide Parish Centre and Oldtown Schools.
